We're huge fans of the show and similar ones of this format outside Canada (Shark Tank etc.). These programs provide entrepreneurs with an unconventional way to pitch their unique products or services to successful and well-connected business people to get funding and build strategic connections. Plus, the show offers valuable exposure to millions of viewers who might turn into users, customers, distribution partners or investors themselves. So we thought - hey, we have a unique and proven solution, people love it and countless people told us (and still tell us today!): "This is genius, you go to the Dragons' Den / Shark Tank"...

We auditioned for the show's 19th season at CBC Studios in downtown Vancouver in March 2024. The show producers liked what they saw and invited us to film in Toronto several months later. During this time, we did our research, prepared a pitch, arranged the logistics, and got ready for the thrill of a lifetime!

We travelled to Toronto in May 2024 and brought a PetParker station and Serena to the CBC Broadcasting Centre where we pitched in front of the camera and faced the Dragons.

Yes, you could say that some Dragons were a better fit for our business but we developed a value proposition for each Dragon since we saw synergies and common areas of opportunity that should interest them. Once in the "Den" you never know how things will play out even with the ones that "on paper" seem like the perfect fit.

That's the million-dollar (or however much we were asking for) question!
